Actuary, entrepreneur, musician, marathon runner, author... Headhunter Roger T. Duguay wears many hats, and has for a long time. The managing partner and founder of Boyden's Montréal office, who spent five years studying motivation and mobilization as a doctoral student at HEC Montréal, has a quarter-century of experience in management and recruitment. "I'm going to share with you what I've seen and heard over the past 13 years in the interviews I've conducted with over 5,000 candidates and with the 500 leaders we've placed in renowned organizations," explains Roger, who was one of the first Quebecers to head up the global CEO recruitment practice of a major international firm.
Nicknamed the Yogi of Wall Street, Erik Giasson has a long and impressive track record. At the age of 28, he was already a vice-president at one of the largest banks in the United States. His atypical career path, littered with successes and trials, has enabled this cancer survivor and father of seven to discover his inner strength. "As an executive coach, I help decision-makers cultivate the balance between head and heart so that they can achieve personal fulfillment while reaching their business goals," says this former Wall Street banker who co-founded Wanderlust Yoga Studios and presented numerous conferences and workplace training courses to give people the courage to succeed.
Divided into 2 blocks of 20 chapters each, 40 Golden Rules for Failing at Work and at Home, scheduled for release in 2024, address topics that are both relevant and current, such as pain, perfection, fear, betrayal, arrogance, promotions, stress, children, relationships, negativity, lies, performance, and more.
"Our book will help leaders who have difficulty finding balance in their lives," concludes Erik Giasson.
