Boyden is pleased to share the appointment news of Natalie Poole-Moffatt
TORONTO, December 27th 2019
Announcement by Richard J. Leary, Chief Executive Officer, TTC:
I am pleased to announce that after a competitive search, Natalie Poole-Moffatt has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief of Corporate Affairs for the TTC. Natalie comes to us with extensive experience in media, public service as well as the energy sector where she recently served as Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Hydro One.
Natalie’s background in corporate affairs includes working with teams to develop crisis communications, traditional and social media strategies, corporate social investment policies and internal/external communications; all of which will be of immense benefit to the TTC as we move forward with our ambitious agenda for change and service improvements as outlined in our 2018-2022 Corporate Plan.
In this role, Natalie will be an essential member of our Executive Team reporting directly to me. She will be accountable for creating a co-ordinated and highly professional Corporate Affairs Group that will be challenged with designing a new framework through which corporate relations and reputational risk are managed to promote our position as North America’s third largest transit system.
In this new role she will develop a long-term vision and strategy to advance the TTC’s reputation-building objectives in order to maintain close and productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including senior officials, government, media, local communities and the public.
Her staff will include two existing departments – Corporate Communications (internal/employee communications and media relations) and Community and Stakeholder Relations (community, council and stakeholder relations).
I look forward to everyone having a chance to meet Natalie after she starts with us on January 6, 2020.
Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season.
