Kalina Petkova has been elected Chair of the Bulgarian Executive Search Association, a partner of the AESC.

Kalina Petkova, Managing Partner at the Bulgarian office of Boyden World Corporation, one of the world's leading executive search companies, was elected Chair of the Board of the Bulgarian Executive Search Association (BESA). Until now, the post was held by Mirena Koleva, Managing Partner at Dr. Pendl & Dr. Piswanger Bulgaria.
Kalina Petkova has many years of experience in the field of operational and strategic HR management, upgraded with more than 5 years in management consulting. With her leadership underway, Boyden Bulgaria has expanded its team and partnerships, and launched new services such as Interim management and Leadership competencies assessment.
At the General Assembly of BESA, Silvia Umnikova, Managing Partner at Alexander Hughes Bulgaria, was elected Secretary of the Association, and Darina Peneva, Executive Director of Stanton Chase International Bulgaria, was elected Member of the Management Board.
The Bulgarian Executive Search Association (BESA) was established in 2011. Its main goal is to increase the professional level of services for recruitment of top management executives. It will be done through establishing ethical standards, creating awareness among the business about the benefits of the service and conducting various leadership potential related surveys. Members of the organization in Bulgaria are the companies Alexander Hughes Bulgaria, Boyden Bulgaria, Dr. Pendl & Dr. Piswanger Bulgaria, Stanton Chase International Bulgaria and Friisberg Bulgaria. BESA is a partner of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) and applies internationally accepted standards and principles of work in Bulgaria.
In the next years, BESA will aim to quickly adapt candidates’ and clients’ understanding of the changes that determine the current challenges that stand before executives at strategic levels in organizations, while they achieve career development. BESA will direct its efforts towards seeking an integrated approach to expanding the available leadership potential by activating profiles of varied age, geographies, and competencies.
