“The City of Windsor has been identified as one of the most important communities to watch in Ontario and Canada. We are facing the evolving needs, opportunities and challenges that go hand in hand with incredible economic growth, creation of new jobs, and a rapidly growing population. As we move forward with initiatives that increase our housing supply, revitalize the core, and invest in the vital new and aging infrastructure required to sustain our growth trajectory, it is important to have the right people at the table. The role of City Engineer/Commissioner of Infrastructure Services is a key position in our Corporate Leadership Team, particularly as we are focused on building Windsor’s future. Mr. Simpson’s vast experience in the municipal sector, and across many intersecting municipal portfolios makes him a welcome addition, and we look forward to having him join the City of Windsor team.” - Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens
