One of the main attractions of Brazilian executives is the fact that they are naturally oriented to think about connections around the world. The opinion is that of Chad Hesters , global CEO of Boyden, an executive search consultancy. He was in Brazil to celebrate Boyden's 55 years of presence in the country - and gave an interview to Valor. “This is a global country. There are many subsidiaries of multinationals here, as well as Brazilian companies that do business in the rest of the world. Therefore, Brazilian executives are very sophisticated. They understand how the world economy impacts their business,” he said.
Hesters spoke about how the transformations taking place in the world affect leadership. “This is the fastest rate of change humans have ever experienced. Therefore, leaders need to deal with this from a mental and emotional point of view, and be able to lead, be forward-thinking and execute,” he pointed out.
