The Board of Directors of the National Theatre School of Canada (NTS) is proud to announce the nomination of Fanny Pagé as the new Chief Executive Officer. Fanny Pagé previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at NTS. Since her arrival in January 2021, she has established herself as a collaborative, thoughtful, empathetic and motivational leader. The Board is thrilled that the organization will continue to benefit from Fanny Pagé’s upstanding leadership.
“I feel extremely privileged to continue my career at the National Theatre School by taking on this role and opening a new chapter in the School’s 62-year history,” said the Incoming Chief Executive Officer, Fanny Pagé. “Exciting challenges lie ahead as theatre bounces back from the pandemic and the School continues to evolve, ensuring that the performing arts remain an important aspect of our society.”
The CEO Search Committee completed an extensive national search resulting in Fanny Pagé’s appointment. Her wide-ranging experience in the performing arts and her deep passion for the School have made her a prime candidate for the role. Her commitment to the mission and values of NTS will be a great asset as the institution continues to serve the evolving needs of Canadian theatre.

The School will continue to lead and innovate in Canadian theatre education, with programs such as DramaFest taking place in four provinces each spring, and the Indigenous Advisory Circle, which seeks to infuse Indigenous culture into the School, making it a welcoming place for all students.
