Karen Kosiba Edwards is an executive recruiter with Boyden. With a 30 year career focused in financial services, Karen has been an investment banker, wealth strategist, angel investor and consultant to business owners and the C-suite. She is passionate about getting more diversity into America’s boardrooms and spent 13 years serving on the board of an NYSE-traded company where she was a member of the Audit and Nominating & Governance committees. Karen will share her experience working with and around boards of directors, including what to consider in seeking a board position, who is most attractive to today’s boards, how to get started and what is involved in the selection process.
