Through over 400 chapters worldwide, Net Impact mobilizes next-generation leaders to use their skills and careers to make a positive impact on the world. On June 23rd, Boyden's Ella Hipolito joins Net Impact's upcoming virtual event, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, presented by SFU Beedie Chapter. The panel will explore what diversity and inclusion means to them, how it's measured, implementing EDI initiatives, changes to the landscape over recent years, and how leaders may best respond to employee feedback.

- Ella Hipolito, an executive search professional with experience in senior academic, administrative, and executive level leadership roles in higher education, healthcare, and other public sector and not-for-profit organizations. Specializing in antiracism, social justice, and passionate about equity diversity and inclusion, Ella advocates for these values in every area and at every step of the recruitment process.
- Alicia Williams Young, CPA and Lawyer with CFO experience. Over ten years of experience executing accounting, IT, and legal business strategies and projects. Graduated from USC with a JD in 2007, Alicia moved to Vancouver to take a VP Finance and Administration role with CHIMP a fintech company working collectively with a public foundation to develop and operate an online charitable giving platform for donor-advised funds.
- Dr. Mila Lazarova, current Associate Professor at SFU Beedie School of Business with research interests in expatriate management, career impact of international assignments; global careers and mobility practices in organizations. She’ll bring the cultural perspective into the conversation.
- Gurwinder Singh, current Director of the Graduate Career Management Centre with extensive experience in Senior leadership roles in Canada and India. He’ll bring his own experience and employer’s perspective for the panel.
