Boyden executive search announces that Jörg Kasten, longtime Managing Partner and Chairman of Boyden World Corporation (2015-2021), passed away at the beginning of August after a short and serious illness.

Frankfurt, August 26th – Jörg Kasten passed away on August 1st, 2024 at the age of 63. Kasten had been Managing Partner for Boyden in Germany since 2009 and was Chairman of the Board of the global organization Boyden World Corporation, based in New York, from 2015 to 2021. Most recently, he was in charge of establishing and leading Boyden's CEO & Board Services Practice globally.

Jörg Kasten had more than 30 years of experience in executive search. During his time at Boyden, Kasten, who graduated with a diploma in psychology, filled management positions at partner and C-level for international clients, particularly in the professional services and technology sectors.

Due to his extensive business and industry expertise as well as his profound knowledge of the relation between corporate success and the right top management, he was not only highly valued by clients, but was also a valued dialogue partner for the media and guest author of numerous media articles. Jörg Kasten was regarded by companies and managers as a “bridge builder” with an outstanding ability to integrate and was therefore highly regarded as a person and personality.
