The Boards of Catholic Health Sponsors of Ontario (CHSO) and Catholic Congregational Legacy Charity (CCLC) are very excited to announce that Meaghan Sharp has been appointed President and CEO for both organizations, effective July 8, 2024.
Meaghan joins CHSO and CCLC with over 20 years of extensive management and leadership experience in Catholic Health, Long-Term Care, Complex Care and Rehabilitation, Seniors’ Community Health, Acute Care, and Health Policy and Planning, being previously employed by Ontario Health (Provincial). Meaghan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science - Nursing, a Master’s Degree in Nursing (Health Leadership) and is currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration Program.
Meaghan is excited about joining CHSO and CCLC and returning to Catholic Health. She is equally excited about supporting the Board Members, and many partners, on continuing to build upon the legacy of caring for the most vulnerable.
Meaghan is extremely mission driven, and dedicated to excellence in care for the patients, residents, and clients that we ultimately serve.
Outside of work, Meaghan is passionate about fitness and has returned to competitive swimming and is currently the Vice President on the Board of Swimming Canada. Meaghan also adores gardening and fashion.
The Boards would also like to take this opportunity to thank Interim CEO Glen Wood for his excellent leadership during this time of transition.
