How has Q2 2021 activity been in comparison to Q1 2021 activity?
The Boyden Brief in June 2021 provided some interesting insight into the state of the market over the first two quarters of this year. Whislt Boyden had a pleasingly busy Q2, over 50% of the interim community found the market the same as Q1 or slighty quieter. This could be a reflection of the skillsets of the interims on our Boyden Brief verses the most in demand skills in Q2, which you can see in our chart below.

How many IR35 status determination processes have you been through since April?
Amazingly 76% of the interims on our call had not been subjected to a Status Determination Assessment. Of all the opportunities that Boyden have put through an IR35 assessment, 86% have been assessed as outside IR35.
And there were no surprises when we learned that over 60% of our interim community had completed an interim assignment outside of the UK, but over 96% are open to considering an international role.
