Hosted by Gowling WLG, this upcoming Women Get On Board event aims to empower women on their journey to corporate boards and to help prepare executives to become board-ready.
The OSC brought in the “comply or explain” regime in 2015 and although many metrics show that diverse boards enhance a company’s financial and non-financial performance, the gender diversity balance on Canadian boards has not changed significantly.
The event's panel will showcase leading corporate directors who are advancing gender diversity as a strategic opportunity for board-building:
Moderator: Colleen Pound, MBA, ICD.D, CEO and Head Strategist at POUND Consulting
Panelists:
Diane Pettie, Q.C., ICD.D, Corporate Director and Lawyer
Morgan Campbell, Associate Partner, Boyden
