The 30% Club is a global campaign led by Chairs and CEOs taking action to increase gender diversity at board and senior management levels. Under the leadership of Global Chair, Ann Cairns, the campaign continues to expand its international footprint with presence in multiple countries/ regions around the world.
Global Mission: At least 30% representation of all women on all boards and C-suites globally.
“As the challenges of doing business become more intense it is time to ensure we have the best and brightest minds at the boardroom table and beyond.”
Ann Cairns, 30% Club Global Chair & Executive Vice Chair, Mastercard
The 30% Club campaign is working to bring about real transformation by:
Providing information and help for businesses trying to improve their diversity at all levels - sharing innovations that work and devising new collaborative actions
Harnessing public media support and leveraging social media - essential in terms of giving the campaign public visibility. We keep the spotlight on the issue through our ongoing role in the public debate, on TV and radio and through social media
Creating, promoting and building on research, in order to help governments, institutions and individuals to direct their energies toward activities that make a difference in driving change*
Working with other related groups. We believe that collective, concerted effort can achieve much more than individual initiatives and are ‘open source’ in our approach. We are driven by our objective, rather than by any ‘ownership’ of the issue
Staging events to develop momentum and to evolve thinking around the issue
Speaking at schools, universities and diversity & inclusion events
Tracking progress towards the 30% target(s)
Boyden publicly pledges our support for the notion that it is good business practice to have women holding 30% of board seats and share the aspiration to collectively reach this goal. We are proud 30% Club Members of the following chapters: 30% Club Canada, 30% Club UK, and 30% Club US.
